The Weserstadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Bremen, Germany. The Weserstadion is scenically situated on the north bank of the Weser River and is surrounded by lush green parks. The city center is only about a kilometer away. It is the home stadium of German Bundeslig:a club Werder Bremen. The Weser Stadium is in a current state of modification and will be transformed into a pure football venue, with the purpose of tightening the atmosphere by moving the spectators closer to the pitch. Modifications therefore include the removal of the space in front of the curves with the addition of a third tier.
